The CCICED was established in 1992 as a unique high level international and interdisciplinary advisory body which serves as a platform for Chinese and international experts to collaborate and provide policy recommendations to the Chinese government. On behalf of BMU, the Sino-German Environmental Partnership II project (SGEP) manages the German contribution to the CCICED and supports both experts’ participation in the SPS research work.
