The second part of the 15^th Conference of Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 15.2) will convene from 5 to 17 December 2022 in Montreal, Canada. Originally planned for Kunming, China in 2020, the CBD COP 15 was postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic and later split into a two-part event. Part 1 of the Meetings was successfully held in Kunming in October 2021. China, as COP 15 President, will continue to preside over Part 2 of the Meetings, with the logo and the theme of COP 15 maintained. China will also convene the High-Level Segment and lead the facilitation of negotiations.
