On April 13, the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the revised draft of the “Eco-environmental administrative punishment methods” (hereinafter referred to as the Methods).
The revised Methods provides a basic guarantee for the further implementation of the ecological environment related guidelines, laws, and regulations, which bears a significant value in instructing the enforcement of ecological laws as well as regulating the administrative penalty. MEE stressed the importance to carry out trainings on related topics, to make sure that Departments of Ecology and Environment at all levels would fully grasp the main contents of the revised Methods.
